Box Contents


A common question we receive is, “How much and what kind of produce will I be getting each week?” We created this page to help answer that question. Below you will find a general sampling of our box contents for 6 different weeks in our 19-week season – first for vegetables and then for fruit. This listing represents a full family share. In order to determine what a half-share will be, you can divide the contents in half. Keep in mind that as the summer progresses, the variety of vegetables will change based on what grows in season. Also note that the first weeks’ boxes are not as full as later boxes. This is meant to be a guide. It is not a guarantee of exact varieties and quantities.

VEGETABLE SHARE:

Week 2: 1 bag of garlic scapes (9), 2 heads of lettuce, 2 heads of broccoli, 1 bunch of green onions, 1 bunch of Swiss chard, 1 bunch of nasturtiums (edible flowers)

Week 4: 1 bunch Swiss chard, 1 Violet Queen broccoli, 1 green broccoli, 3 sweet red onions, 1 head cauliflower, 1 bundle white bunching onions, 4 yellow beets, 1 lb. bag of Red Gold potatoes, 1 pint of peas, 1 zucchini, 1 patty pan squash

Week 7: 12 ears sweet corn, 3 candy onions, 3 red onions, 2 patty pan squash, 2 zucchinis, 1 lunch bag of Irish Cobbler potatoes, 1 bunch carrots, 5 red beets, 2 Armenian cucumbers, 1 Boothesbys Blonde cucumber, 2 eggplants, 2 green peppers

Week 11: 12 ears of sweet corn, 4 green peppers, 2 Oriental eggplant, 1 bunch Swiss chard, 2 red onions, 1 bunch of green onions, 4 Chioggia beets, red cabbage head, 1 pint red cherry tomatoes, 1 pint yellow cherry tomatoes, 11 heirloom tomatoes (variety)

Week 14: 3 leeks, 4 cylindra red beets, 3 Oriental eggplant, 2 red peppers, lunch bag of sweet potatoes, 2 green peppers, 2 hot banana peppers, 1 “Salsa bag” (made up of garlic, tomatillos, Roma tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeno), 2 Celebration winter squash, 1 bag of arugula salad mix, 14 heirloom tomatoes (variety)

Week 16: 12 ears of sweet corn, 1 bunch kale, 2 butternut squash, 1 Salsa pack, purple bunching onions, 2 eggplant, bag o f sweet potatoes, 5 sweet peppers, assorted tomatoes

FRUIT SHARE

Week 1: 4 quarts of strawberries, 8 apricots

Week 4: 2 quarts apricots, 1 quart cherries, 2 pints raspberries, 1 quart strawberry

Week 6: 2 quarts apricots, 4 pints blueberries, 8 Lodi apples

Week 9: 10 peaches, 2 pints blackberries, 4 pints blueberries

Week 11: 12 plums, 8 Gala apples, 1 Gourmet melon, 1 cantaloupe, 10 peaches

Week 13: 1 Canary melon, 1 watermelon, 8 nectarines, 2 pints raspberries

Week 16: 10 Honeycrisp apples, 1 gallon apple cider, 1 peck Concord grapes, 8 Bosc pears
